Mushroom milk is a simple, wholesome way to enjoy mushrooms in a new form. Blending mushrooms with water, a touch of sweetness, and warm spices creates a naturally creamy drink that feels comforting and versatile. You can enjoy it on its own, pour it over oats, or use it as a base for smoothies and lattes.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup mushrooms (button or cremini), cooked and cooled
3 cups water
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Method

Add mushrooms, water, maple syrup (if using), vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to a high-speed blender.
Blend on high until completely smooth.
Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine sieve for extra creaminess (optional).
Store in a sealed jar or bottle in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Enjoy chilled, warmed on the stove, or as a base for smoothies, cereal, or coffee.
