This Green & Mushroom Boost-Up Smoothie is a creative twist on the classic green smoothie. By adding mushrooms, you get a subtle earthiness that pairs beautifully with fresh greens and fruity sweetness. It’s simple, refreshing, and perfect for mornings when you want a light yet satisfying drink.



INGREDIENTS
1 cup spinach or kale (fresh or lightly steamed)
½ cup cooked and cooled mushrooms (button or cremini work best)
1 ripe banana
½ green apple, chopped
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
A few ice cubes
Method

Add spinach (or kale), mushrooms, banana, green apple, and almond milk to a blender.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Add chia seeds (or flaxseeds) and sweetener if desired. Blend again briefly.
Toss in a few ice cubes and blend until chilled and frothy.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
